Health awareness campaigns emphasizing the Health hazards of smoking, Alcohol and drug addiction, Maternity and nutritional and preventive actions on STD/HIV/AIDS. Though diversified crops are grown in the area, the nutritional status of children and pregnant women is very low. The rate of pregnant women suffering from anemia is also high. Gadag district is having a lack of infrastructure related to the medical field specially to face an emergency. The organization understands the need for medical emergency services and hence organizing awareness programs on blood donation and Medical Checkup.
Every year it organizes blood donation and Medical Check-up camp and a directory of volunteers who are ready to donate blood whenever it is necessary are maintained in the office. The organization has mobilized blood donation and Medical Checkup, twice in the previous year and could save the life of mother after delivery that lost a large amount of blood
